>>61458051So you're asking me to basically turn being a fan into a full time job to do things that the company should already be doing for them? That seems like kind of an insane ask. I support them as much as I can without getting obsessive about it.
>>61458180It's not that numbers bother me, it's that I can't help but worry and feel bad for the livers because I get too emotionally attached to vtubers I like. Thinking about their excitement when they got into Nijisanji slowly turning into anxiety when management start questioning their numbers makes me sad. Especially when people are gonna shit on them and discourage other vtubers from joining Niji when they see that it isn't as financially beneficial as it used to be. This is all directly a result of shit like AR Live getting canceled and a bunch of other disappointments that pissed off both the livers and fans. Even the streamers have really low morale these days, we can't just "enjoy streams" when they seem visibly miserable and some of them seemed truly happy for Nina when she finally escaped and is now doing financially better than she ever was. If you're a Nijisanji fan, as in a fan of Nijisanji's culture stemming all the way from the JP branch and wanting to bring that culture over to EN, then these signs are all very worrying. When both the fanbase and the livers act like they're just waiting for the branch to inevitably collapse it makes me depressed that they thought debuting a new wave in this environment was a good idea. It's downright cruel to these girls. Like when Tsunderia debuted a new wave while on the brink of bankruptcy.
Poor Amiya...ok sorry rant over
