Every new wave, not just in Nijisanji but in every corpo really, it feels like they always recruit that one person who legitimately has no idea about anything related to anime that they probably just hired because he or she has a sexy voice and does good ASMR or something and there's unfortunately a really big audience for that which spends a lot of money. And you have these moments where they're collabing and everyone else is nerding out talking about very specific anime stuff and then that person's just like. "Mmhm. Uh huh." and feels like a complete third wheel. It's funny but it also makes me feel a little stressed for them. I do get that not everyone has time to watch anime anymore. I personally have barely watched anything the last couple years so there's certain stuff I could speak at length about but talk about some new shit and I might have heard the name but that's it.
