The game Layna is playing is taking a unique spin on the whole concept of a cult gone bad by keeping consistent with It's own internal lore instead of lampooning the whole concept and having you act like a cult-buster. It makes your character the one keeping to
it's precepts. Makes it a really interesting take on spiritualism and the juxtaposition of It's valid aspects with how it can go wrong. Though it should go with noting that burning a victim of possession with a candle and smashing their head into a mirror isn't the best approach...
