>>20172194No, I KNOW no conventional oven gets that hot because you'd literally burn your fucking house down.
The rosebud even says they fucking somehow cook their pizza at 800 degrees F
THAT WOULD LITERALLY IGNITE THE FUCKING OLIVE OIL IN THE DOUGH.
Not ONLY that, but that's not how the laws of thermodynamics work, and I'm pretty well versed because my stupid ass degree made me take up to a masters level of classes regarding that.
If there's 1 thing heat hates, it's transferring into itself. It actually takes more energy for heat to transfer to something, than it does to make the heat source in the first place. I.E takes more for a fire to make a metal thing hot, than to start that fire. For reference, Steel melts at at 2500, Orange fire (the coldest fire), gets to around 2200. You can quite literally, leave a pair of grabbers in a fire pit all god damn day and it won't even get NEAR that temperature. You know why? Because in order for it to get there, you need almost perfect heat transfer. Crucibles, and Kilns are made for this, as are blacksmithing forges. They are insulted as hell to keep the heat IN and get as close to a perfect transfer of heat as possible.
Getting near 800 degrees would turn the inside of the oven extremely soft, not only that, but wood ignites at around 300 degrees F. Yet this fucking rosebud is trying to tell me he cooks his god damn pizza at almost 3x that temp? Yeah fucking right.
If anyone studied thermodynamics OR has 5 years of pizza making experience, please challenge me because I enjoy a good debate.
