>>82960652I think this is the first time Shirase has sang Stay Alive. Shirase's voice is similar to Takahashi Rie's Emilia. It's quite endearing. The cover feels like a mediocre cover on first listen. I didn't see the beauty in the subtleness of this cover for a few re-listens. There's a large reflection of Shirase's tint all over the cover. It is her cover, but these pieces really heighten song to its own level with Shirase's nice familiar voice with the unique timbre she has. The original has many moments like that and Shirase was able to capture her own quality without solely singing the song. I definitely want to hear Shirase sing it live. Being able to listen carefully to how she sing certain parts of the song is nice, but I think her live cover will have another aspect to it that isn't seen in this cover MV.
There were a lot of posts I wanted to reply to that I didn't get to and there's also some new announcements and covers to post. The covers pile up to a week and more back. Then lives to add to the list that weren't there and mentioned in the thread. PIEDPIEPER wrote some interesting words in his note that I didn't touch upon. I didn't listen to Beberry's cover clip of Nocturn too. I missed Shuko as well. What's more is Yoshika has a new original song. Board has been slower recently, but don't forget to make a new thread it's time.
