I like the appeal of a burned-out normie/roastie obviously not enjoying having to interact with an audience and being subtly shitty about, but not being so unselfaware that they go over the line and really overtly insult you as much as they would like. It's sort of like interacting with a cute cashier girl at a gas station that is obviously disgusted by you but knows she has to be polite to keep her job. That she has to do it for hours at a time is just a bonus.
