Results are in and now we can finally analyze what we have. So let's look at poll #1 first. The point of this poll is to determine how many vshojo girls the anons of this general are willing to watch. Results show that most anons only watch 3 vshojos regularly at any given time. I feel that this is reasonable as watching many streams is very hard to do in the first place so I wouldn't count that as a bad thing. To be honest I was expecting the most popular result to be that anons are only willing to watch only one vshojo at any given time. That being said, the next two most most popular results mean that a very large proportion of anons only really care about one or two vshojos at any given time. We'll get into this later but for now let's look at the rest of the results. Now, people voting "8" so much is most likely anons just picking the meme choice but I'm not going to discount the idea that some anons picked it because they are willing to watch all vshojos. This leaves the rest of the results which show that only a few anons are willing to watch as many vshojos as they can. I feel that since these results are within expectations they are worth believing the question was answered mostly honestly.
Now let's look at poll #2. The point of this poll is to determine which of the vshojos the single watcher anons watch. Does this mean Nyan is the oshi of most anons? No! I wasn't asking for that. In fact the amount of votes for each choice is largely irrelevant. What matters is the who. Keeping that in mind the results show that if an anon only watches one vshojo they are most likely to watch one of Nyan, Vei, or Mouse. This is obviously within expectations. The Hime vote in this case is most likely the meme choice, but it seems some other vshojos have single watchers too. In general I was expecting this poll to be dominated by the most popular vshojos and since it was I feel that these results are also worth believing.
So what does this all mean and why did I do this? To be honest I was curious as to whether it would be worthwhile to make a /vei/ and /mouse/ general. The results seem to indicate the answer is yes but there is a problem. The results also show that /nyan/ is not the central hub of exclusive Nyanners watchers. Which means that /nyan/ is not only redundant but also pointless. If a /vei/ and /mouse/ were made I doubt they would serve their intended purpose just as /nyan/ doesn't either. Sadly the results also show that this thread really isn't very unified. As in it's not so much /vsj+/ as it is /nyan/ + /vei/ + /mouse/ + /zen/ +... etc all just stuffed into one thread. This means most anons just use this thread for the exclusive discussion of one or two or sometimes three vshojos rather than for the discussion of all vshojos. Which, call me old fashioned, isn't really the point of the thread.
So can it be fixed? Do I expect any change from doing this? Honestly, I don't really see things being different any time soon. You see I've been browsing this thread since the beginning and the one thing that has always been consistent is that this is the most brow beaten general I've ever browsed on 4chan. This general, being in support of western vtubers, has always been the black sheep of the board resulting in harassment simply for existing. This caused a culture of never sticking your neck out for fear of retaliation. That's why this thread doesn't make OC or participate in board-wide events or why so few anons report for example. The anons of this general basically collectively have battered wife syndrome. And even if anons come and go, which they obviously have, this thread's identity has remained just that.
tl;dr - This thread isn't very good, but not for any single reason. Now we know why in more certain terms. Do with this info what you want.
