I don't even hate all the talents either, though there are male vtubers in the branch I genuinely despise like Luca and Kyo who are obviously trying to get close to the girls on a romantic level and to leech off their numbers.
The problem with male/female collabs is when they become guerilla or they happen despite what the stream promises. It started with Petra/Maria, and it happened again with Elira and friends playing Valorant. The moment you basically make CGDCT clickbait is when I drop out, there's indies and even other corpos I can watch that don't treat their fans as poorly. If you're going to do that, you have respectful mature members on board, and you advertise the collab ahead of time like Sonny's TF2 streams, or Pomu/Rosemi/Fulgur/Doppio playing Mario Retardy 2, and its just people having fun, then I don't care, its good to watch people have fun with video games as friends.
As for Finana and Elira, Finana deserves the brunt of the shit she gets for how she treats her fans. Elira deserves flak, but more because she probably got in a good amount of people into the branch, whether via Hanamori with Uki and Shu or otherwise with Millie/Enna. The latter two basically said up front that they knew Elira in the past.
