>>24453413Crows are smart my dude. If they hear the sound often enough, nobody dies, and they don't see anything whiz past them they will figure it out. Rock salt at over 30 feet won't do much to them beyond knocking them down and scaring the shit out of them, but they won't keep taking the chance. You will only see them show up around your fields every few months that way.
