>>24455842Luknight Expedition to /risu/, Entry 4, May 18th
We have arrived within the Risuner city of Pasuma, and have spent two weeks here surveying. This seems to be the religious capital of their lands, nanora, with several statues, shrines, and even a plaza of worship, where their goddess is said to appear once a year. For the technological deficiencies these Risuners have, their plaza was resplendent in a way that makes me nearly feel shame for our inadequacies in honoring our Himesama, though I understand we are in no place to dictate a consistent reincarnation spot, nanora.
I now understand why the Risuners were once so determined to buy my prized armor opal, as I have seen older female Risuners use gemstones here to heal their fellow citizens. Lady Toffy spent the day with one of these healers, and learned there are many such unique crystals, including one that can enhance harvests, which could be of great use to the kingdom. The Risuners are not interested in trade for any of our current goods, however. Perhaps on a second trip, we may bring some of the opals unsuitable for armor to exchange.
Sir Sucre had an incident in the street. One day surveying the local markets, we heard a commotion, and saw a Risuner in a black cloak chasing after a monstrously large goose with razor-sharp teeth. Fearing for our lives, Sir Sucre unsheathed his sword and quickly beheaded the beast. The Risuners seemed relieved, but also wished the goose could have been taken alive. We later learned this beast is involved in the Risuner's form of capital punishment from our guide, Winardi. Scary to think such things exist, nanora...
Sadly, we have not been permitted to the greatest temple of the Risuners. Our next plan is to regroup with the other expedition knights at Gaputan. We have heard our allies from /towa/ make regular visits there. It should be a great time.
