>>58417047I'm one of the weird ones as I like everything about Fire Emblem even the worst story of the series, Fates, thanks to a piss poor writer and even more piss poor localization. It depends on what game you're looking for when first starting, gameplay? 6-9 and Awakening to start out with. Story? FE4 and Thracia 776 have some of the best in the series (Highly filterable gameplay, blessed be Kaga) so does PoR and Radiant Dawn. Characters? The cooler ones are from 1-10 and the quality of them is questionable after that. I started with 7 since that came out first in the west and it's the most approachable in the entire series, at least I think so.
