>>47813718Sure, my process is usually to think "hmm what is something that isn't really explained?" and then I come up with a mechanism to explain it. I'm mostly aiming is to have fun, I like coming up with pataphysics and making technical drawings. As well as set up future lore that might rely on those fundamentals.
My main inspiration is to find a real-life phenomenon that shares some characteristics with the fictional thing, and then re-work it for our purposes. A bit similar to drawing from real-life civilizations to create vitubian countries.
If you mean actually making the figures, most of the time I slap together a simple scene with the objects I want so that they're nicely shaded and placed precisely, then I import the render and add what I need to CSP or
Paint.NET.
