I like my family and I like spending time with them but every time we get together for a big holiday I can't help but imagine what it would be like if Gura was there with me. I don't think my family does anything out of the ordinary but I honestly think I'd be way more comfortable spending holiday time with her family than bringing her to be with mine. I wonder if it's just a mixture of nerves and embarrassment, even though I have no embarrassment of loving her.
