>>30253924I think there's some potential for men and women to bond over the same hobby despite liking it for different reasons, provided they respect eachother's tastes. I probably wouldn't date a kpop girl but if a girl was into Granblue Fantasy for the hot guys and I was into it for the hot girls I think we could get along just fine while talking about the things we have common ground in. Maybe that's just me though, I don't typically like being dismissive of people's tastes and will try to find common ground. Kpop and MLP are like the only things I can't find any appreciation for, but if a girl liked Kamen Rider for the BL undertones I'd have fun listening to her talk about it. If a girl was into Luxiem and I'm into Lazulight we could still share clips from our oshi's streams or watch collabs together even if we don't watch every stream together due to different tastes. Simply showing respect for the other person goes a long way I think.
