It's pretty obvious, but I can scientifically prove that miComet visited USJ in the early morning.
We see the shadows fall on Hogwarts Castle, and using a shade map I found that the south-west cliff is in shade until probably 8:30. Assuming Oct 1st is actually worst-case, and the earlier in the season, the later the sun falls on that cliff face. The park opens at 9, so they had to be done and out by then.
