What is considered Dead Subs?
How is it bad for a channel?

Because my understanding is that even if you subscribe to a channel and then just not check them out, the algorithm WILL notice you're subbed to them and sometimes throw their content your way, or similar content, which can only be a good thing compared to someone who isn't subbed at all.
