Basically, I was her childhood friend or some shit like that, I knew her very well, and while she was rambling about something I felt my heart hurt because I knew I was in love with her. Like I knew that we would never be together because of reason X and Y, and I knew that someone else would get to meet and date this wonderful person while I watched through a glass window.
Maybe she reminded me of someone I knew.
