>>35721818Honestly just cheesy, romantic drama with some cool action parts that a lot of us saw as teenagers. If you're gonna watch em all I would recommend avoiding spoilers because there are some genuinely good "oh shit" moments. Also Alice Cullen is really hot, she was my first (and still is) flesh waifu.
In regards to the second part, I'm a white nationalist and I don't really see that in the movies. There are strong elements of tribalism and staying within ones own group, which is just normal, and doesn't fall on racial lines as much as it does on the fact that they're fucking supernatural beings.
