Yes the drama is fucking vile and obnoxious, but without catalog there wouldn't be spur of the moment OC content in the shape of fanart, greentexts and stories. It's a necessary evil. Also the very nature of virtual streamer discussion is toxic in this entire site. It was/is awful on /jp/, sucks here and would suck on a potential /vtg/. We should be glad fat bellies keep us civil most of the time.
