"It's all an act, they're fucking their boyfriends behind the scenes" speaks to the overall grifter mindrot that plagues the EN sphere because of the majority of poisonous roasties who call themselves Vtubers. In the same way women are allowed to be sluts in the west and pure and virginal in Japan, so too has Vtubing gotten the stigma of "harlots are fine too".
Most female Vtubers hate their audiences. They are repulsed by them, their looks, their jokes, their interests, and their existence. They put no effort into respecting their audience or GFE, and if you point this out, they and their legion of pathetic simps will call you parasocial for expecting them to actually give a fuck and be entertaining. You have impossible or at the very least unrealistic standards if you want them to do more than just show their real face or bodies and then call it GFE. There's even a few of these in Hololive.
Then in come FUWAMOCO who are

It's not surprising they get a lot of hate from groups that want Vtubing just to be a money extractor from single men, including the aforementioned whores that slipped into Hololive.
Their very existence increases smiles globally. The unspoken agreement among lazy whores is to keep happiness low on purpose so that their simps will see them as the sole source of redemption. If everyone hates their audience, then the audience can never expect or ask for anything better and the lower quality of treatment becomes the standard. That's why spiteful bitches in Hololive are so dangerous, because just by being in Hololive, you're automatically at least a 4view.
FUWAMOCO cause seethe among these types and their fans because they genuinely love the Ruffians, when it would be so much easier just to not give a fuck and churn out sub par content. And now they're more successful than all the people who have never commissioned anything for their fans, while the Ruffians get fully voiced VNs and sex with their oshis. They expose the hateful cunts for what they are by just being themselves. And that makes their fans realize they could have been loved all this time too so they get mad and lash out at FUWAMOCO and their fans. The girls themselves criticize them, saying that "VN streams get shit numbers" or that "FUWAMOCO encourage mental illness" or that "They're just pretending to be anime girls" because to the charismatic void of a scamming harlot, actually loving and appreciating your audience IS doing too much or going too hard, at least for them.
