This is not quite a derisive comment tho, it just made me realize that for all the shit I've been giving to the game all my complains are about the gameplay. It might have a good story for all I know! People often say the IDW comics are great despite (or because) SEGA having a more active role on their making.
Sonic's story never held any importance to me but I can understand why people would be excited for the game.
