I mean, fuck, there are games that try using the Dark Souls formula, even though it fundamentally doesn't work for it (Hollow Knight). If I wanna play Dark Souls, I'll just play Dark Souls. I'm still gonna watch Biboo's playthrough of this game, but I personally have decided to never play a souls-like game. I'll just stick with Dark Souls/Bloodborne.
