But what about the footage of skinny, starving prisoners and mass graves?
Most of those images come from Bergen-Belsen. The prisoners in that camp were starving because of the allied bombing campaign which cut off their supply lines. In fact the German guards were in a similar state. Allied propaganda also used footage of broken bodies at Nordhausen, which was bombed by the British airforce, as "evidence of german atrocities".
The holocaust is indeed a lie. But most war propaganda is.

-- At the start of the Gulf War they claimed babies were being dumped out of incubators, another hoax to stir up war fever.
-- During WW1, British papers claimed the Germans were raping nuns and bayonetting children, these were lies they later apologized for.
War is simply a sea of propaganda and hoaxes, and the holocaust is no different
