About not posting art due to Ai, I dont like punishing normal fans for what some bad actors will do, not just ai but things like anti cheat and anti piracy measures in games. Top priority should be how to make it a good experience for your actual fans/customers, and only after that do you deal with minimising what bad actors do. Fucking over everyone just to make it a little harder for bad actors is something I really dont like.
Appendix bf:
About you getting a bf, I was going to post in chat that I would be angry if you get a bf but the conversation moved on, and chat was filled with people saying anyone saying that should leave so I wasn't in the mood to join in. Afterwards thinking about it, I wouldn't be angry, I'm to burned out with vtubing to have any emotional response but I will still defend others who get angry.
I have an issue with this idea that you cant feel negatively about a streamer bf. Denying people the ability to have emotions because its not the "right" emotions is very toxic. If were talking about actions its another story, for example I don't approve of harassing a vtuber for years because she got a bf, but let people feel emotions.
How I would react depends on how it happens, if you spend months telling us a guy is just a friend, making fun of anyone noticing you're dating, then when it leaks tell chat "actually we were dating the entire time, we want to be honest with you guys" like nyanners did then its an immediate unfollow and I will burn all my merch. lying and making fun of your community, then lying about lying and then pretending you arnt lying to pretend like you have the moral high ground, fuck off.
If nothing changes in your content at all, then I will still drop fansly, it feels weird to consume that kind of lewd content from someone in a relationship, unless its just unemotional porn-porn where you dont care about the person more than that they have nice tits but a big benefit to a lot of vtuber lewds have much more emotion in it.
I have to think hard about exactly how id handle the rest. I think theres a lot of emotional enjoyment I get from you that I wouldn't get if you had a bf, so I would almost surely stop the "unconditional support", like now if you have a bad day or youre playing something I dont like I still watch and can still have fun, but if you have a bf youd move into the "just entertainment" category most likely. And if im honest with myself, if you had a bf i would have probably stopped watching you earlier this year when you got demotivated with streaming games and got more distant with chat. Maybe im not a "real" fan then, but its like being in love with a friend, it makes it really hard to maintain a friendship afterwards if you're in the frendzone or gfzone and its usually best for everyone if the friendship ends so people move on. Really it would depend a lot on my mental state at he time and how you act after it.
Okay that was way longer than I meant but it's a different topic and I don't think it's as clear as most people make it out to be. That's why it's an appendix after all its not needed to read it for the good night part of the post.
