it wouldn't even be that bad if the viewercord did anything beneficial to the thread, or didn't hold such a "holier-than-thou" attitude towards it
they steal posters from the thread as noted by

they also, probably unintentionally, control their members viewing habits through social pressure. the few contacts i have with the server watch way more of ariarin than they previously have
many of their prominent viewers have either become chuubas or are considering it, though really this is less of a problem with their discord and more of a problem of groups like theirs really dissolving the viewer/vtuber class distinctions without really considering the consequences
i get the feeling most of its members really wouldn't mind if /wvt/ died, something that prince has wanted all along based on those IRC logs from a while back
