What if the artist just sat by and kinda just let this happen? Let them make merch revenue that's probably in the millions by now and pretend like you don't know about it. And then, pretend to "notice" at the perfect time. And what time could be better than right after the big Nendoroid announcement? Now you have them exactly where you want them. They made a ton of money from your IP and if they don't settle with you FAST, you can easily turn this into a PR disaster for them. So at this point, the artist could ask for pretty much any cut or lump sum and Filian would have no choice but to agree to it.
