What do you guys think of removing a chuuba's fantasy elements in a story? Like an elf's ears or a kemomimi's ears and tail? The group I have in mind is gen 5 and I thought it would make sense to remove their non-human aspects as the story is set in the real world. I already know HOW I'm going to explain that they are regular humans through prose (in a hopefully natural way), but I'm just wondering if I SHOULD. Are they essential parts of the character or are they unnecessary?
