Average Hime Hajime Weekend Edition

For once we had a not-too quiet weekend in VShojo-land which was a great surprise given what we knew was going on. Yes, over the weekend our very own Ironmouse and Projekt Melody were guests of honor at Offkai, a convention for vtubers. Or something. They weren't the only big names there of course as prominent /lig/'s like Bao and Buffpup were there, along with the other most high profile guests, Lazulight of Nijisanji EN! With the both of them busy and Mouse being our most constant streamer by far things seemed to be quiet but Snuffy and others stepped up to keep things busy and that meant that last night we were treated to their stories of what their time at Offkai was like. Mel talked about how she immediately got deez nuts'd by a random person asking a question, and had to be physically restrained from attacking him, while Mouse went on about how emotional she got given that it was not only her first time ever going to a con period, but she also got to go as a guest and not just a visitor! All around a nice time to hear them both reminisce about their time and it came with the promise of more to come.
And that's what today's all about. What is to come. And that's also the big question of the hour. What IS to come? Mouse all but confirmed that the Offkai appearance is only the first in what will certainly be more con appearances. Will Melody be at the next one? Or will it be someone else, like the pink cat, or the blue wolf, or even the red dragon? That remains a mystery. Also a mystery is the never-ending tease of new members, with Mouse once again reigniting the discussion last night thanks to two simple statements. Number 1, a correction where she intended to say members, and instead accidentally said member. So there's at minimum 2. Number 2. "You guys aren't ready." There's been rumors abound that a VShojo JP could actually become a thing and there is at least one very high profile Japanese indie that the group has multiple ties to, but that's all speculation.
For now, all we can do is continue waiting. And as you wait, keep things comfy and civil for everyone with 3 easy steps. Number 1, ignore bait because there will be a lot of it. Number 2, report bait, because it's the only way to control it. And most importantly, number 3. Be excellent to each other.
