>>2156052>this dipshit circlejerk of sucking off the top talents is hurting me.Welcome to american culture and why it hasn't made a single thing of cultural value or relevance in the past 30 years. Any creative industry is filled with these kinds of people who treat it like a cool kid's club where clout and playing social group politics decides who makes it and who doesn't. It's no surprise that western vtubing is ending up in the same creative ditch. Here's some real fucking advice if you want to approach this from a business perspective: respect your audience and don't call them incels. Be sincere to them and them only. They are your foundation, the only people you can rely on. Anyone else? They're a competitor. Cheat and backstab your fucking way to the top, but never get caught or show your hand. Make strategic 'friendships' but never give more than you can take. Most people who didn't strike a jackpot and luck out with popularity is doing this, because they are not artists, musicians, or streamers. They are businessmen.
I have no idea what non-american creative 'scenes' are like, but they are probably better in some way since they are making things of value and are dominating modern culture.
