Nah that's horse shit and I'm gonna tell you why. You can buy bots and have them on your stream and up your subs/viewcount. Alternatively you can play a popular game that people want to watch. It has nothing to do with skill.
If the algorithm blesses someone, it cares not about their abilities. They (should?) be aware of this so people don't just buy their way in.

I still want to stream and think that's fun so I started doing it on my own and will continue to do so anyway but I like Yagoo's idea of setting up a Holo universe. Like, the big overarching goal.
I don't think I'd really have to interact with Tempus and if it's like Hololive people get different managers. I do work a full time job though and I don't think Star money would justify quitting it but I could do three streams a week.
