On the other hand, vtubers are generally really entertaining, it's a mostly positive experience, and only rarely a negative one. I can have a harem of cute anime girls, and if they irritate me I can just close the tab.
Women don't really have to exceed that "impossibly high standard" but I can see why it makes them insecure. Instead of at least trying, it just ends up with more crying and drama.
