>>74786526You're forgetting: This is a phone app. In iOS. That means we pay the big Apple mafia first.
Let's say you buy $10 in coins, which if I recall is 1000 coins. You'll get you're oshi a burger, and still have some to throw up smaller emotes throughout the stream.
Apple instantly takes 20%. That's $2 gone instantly.
AniLive's a new app. It's gotta keep the lights on. Dev costs and capital investments aren't going to pay for themselves, but let's assume that Cap's reasonable and say AniLive takes a 30% cut. $5.60 left.
Now hold on there, NEXAS and AniLive are separate entites. They may be business partners, but they've got separate bills, and your "education" isn't free. We'll highball this one and assume a 50% cut, since industry average these days is actually in the 20~40% range.
So, that $10 burger & fries you bought you're oshi? They get to pocket $2.80 of it. Before taxes, of course! Oh, and I sure hope all of those coins went to you're oshi, because after cuts each individual coin in 1000 is worth $0.0028, just under a third of a cent each!
(You) can totally save her, one burger at a time!
