>>14829459You make some very strong points because for how NijiEN feels as of now is a seasonal anime for instance with it's main and recurring characters, a strongly defined cast that interacts with each other and whose presence is felt in every stream.
Now as the branch expands we part from that and fully understand that all of our characters won't make it through the next season, they'll be in the background having adventures of their own with their new friends or may disappear altogether. This change as painful as I feel it is a reminder that these are real people we're watching and not just characters frozen in time.
Most importantly it reminded me that our best moments are always the ones we're currently living and that even when our oshi or our favorite members are gone it is up to us to find our happiness without them rather than to say in the past rewatching old VODs.
Thank you for this post, it has helped me reflect on so many things, and it's prepared me a litte more for the years that come.
