I think what likely happened is Pomu either reached out to her after the radio silence and Selen didn't respond or Pomu assumed that Selen being Selen wanted to be left alone and didn't reach out.
Honestly I think Pomu will either try her best to talk to Selen more now that she knows or she'll try to move/cancel her lessons and fly back so she can spend time with Selen IRL (less likely she'll do this but she'll most likely want to do this).
