Demon dog biologist here. As Mococo's air intakes are bigger than Fuwawa, her respiration is more effective. However, this results in an adaptation by the fluffy one. Her chest has developed large inflatable sacs in order to store oxygen, allowing her to breathe in atmospheric conditions despite the lower rate of consumption. The slower rate of inhalation and exhalation still causes her metabolism and thought processes to slow down, resulting in fluffy brain.
