The /news/ thread picked out it as being noteworthy to mention. And then when the designs came out, the fujos were on top of some of them from /cbdct/. I am sure some shilling was involved to get it to the terminal velocity where this thread exists but no one was doing the rounds shilling it incessantly to get the board to notice, it was pretty organic in that regard.
