Charlie just dropped a video exposing how much money Youtube vods actually make.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbUVOv885cc&t=625According to this video, youtube vods are making about $15k per million views.
So follow my steps
>go to your oshi's playboard account>select the "viewership" tab>it gives you the total number of views in the past 3 months>multiply that by 4>divide by 1 million>multiply by $15k>multiply the final result by 0.35this is how much money your oshi is making on a yearly basis through vod revenue alone. It could be discounted a bit if the views are from a third world country, but that's "roughly" the number.
So for example,
https://playboard.co/en/channel/UCR6qhsLpn62WVxCBK1dkLow/viewershipEnna has 2 million views accumulated in the past 3 months (when she wasn't even streaming full time)
That is about 8 million views on an annual basis
Which correlates to $120,000 per year.
Her cut is 35% of that, so she makes about $42k a year on her vod views. That's money in her pocket.
That is easily enough to survive on, while streaming reduced schedule streaming.
