>>30639941The problem isn't about oversaturation it's that the audiences they're targeting don't seem to exist in EN. Male gamers? Sistubers? Zoomer dudebros? Who is that going to appeal to? They're not drawing anyone in, they're just sitting there leeching off established groups.
If they could actually hire people with an established niche like Hayama or Mashiro or Fumi that can appeal to a very loyal demographic then that's a success in my eyes even if they don't do well. But with Iluna and this new gamers wave the audience just doesn't exist.
Even if they miraculously found some RTS autist he'll struggle to get more than 1-2k viewers and management will pressure him to ramp up the fujopandering to chase numbers. EN don't seem satisfied with letting their livers be "good enough" like JP does so they all end up kinda blending into the same thing fighting over the same audience of lonely weebs.
