>>72348823Both 13th and 14th gen are newer than what AMD has out. 7800X3D is the game king and 7600 is the budget king but at top end Intel is generally better now especially at multicore. 7950X3D is comparable but it's more expensive. Threadrippers murder Intel but they are insanely expensive.
Yes Intel has power and cooling issues but you can just limit power draw in BIOS and still get 99% of the performance. Ryzens 9000 are undoubtedly going to slaughter 14th gen but no real reason to wait 3 months.
