>>30669051I'd be down to discussing and collaborating on rolling mechanics for a potential ttrpg. I have a bit (10+ years) of experience with them, plus fiddling with some completely customized mechanics in the past to make them fit into my settings.
Regarding Chuubanite, you can omit thinking about it too much when trying to come up with the basics. It mostly serves as justification for the supernatural elements of the setting. Setting up the precise ramifications for it can come after coming up with the initial system.

I was thinking if you'd want to have some aid from /nasfaqg/ (or, personally from Tripoint) because while no company would likely be willing to send any kind of an expeditionary force, some of the companies that'd experience frequent or semi-frequent raids along the Watamelon coastline would deem it more cost-effective to voluntarily provide aid to deal with the menace. This might mean resources, expertise, intelligence, or very specialized gear. Generally, just remember that these organizations don't work pro bono - Tripoint might slightly since it doesn't mind currying favour on Moriji - but others will only support it with cutting losses from piracy/terrorism in mind.
