If the world was destroyed, Kris would no longer be controlled by the player. But destroying the world, opening fountains- each fountain opened represents a chapter of the game released doesn't it? So presumably the end of the world is the end of the game, when all chapters are released and there's nothing left to tell. The titans would be the player, then maybe?
