No, but seriously, I think the changes should be explored first, and so give the subtropic nations a chance to see how their "correct" climate would have been, before a decision is made on this. The Miocene fix was just a proposal, I think it would have to be voted on first before we go with it.
From me, its a selfish wish but I would find the loss of
the potential larger cold biomes in our world quite sad. I don't think having a cold biome is a death sentence to any nation. Rich coming from a rep of a nice subtropical nation yeah, but I do really think that. The potential of colder biomes I feel is really overlooked.
Besides, our world is greatly lacking in maple syrup right now.
