Lord of the Board isn't begging any threads to participate, and we haven't advertised outwardly beyond that initial thread declaring signups open. We do keep an eye on threads showing interest and offer input when there's confusion on how the event works, but we do not advertise and do not bring the event up in other threads unprompted.
Obviously we can't stop some autist from trying to shill to every thread, but please do not come here harassing us when it could just as easily be some falseflagger trying to start shit.
As far as we're concerned, 60 is plenty. It is possible for there to be more, but we already consider the sign-ups a success and would be fine with not getting any more for the remainder of the sign-up period. Sign-ups won't be closing early, this is just me pointing out that we have no real need to advertise or pressure threads to show up. We've already got our work cut out for us.
