When you have a pet who's slowly approaching death's door, you don't only think about the fact they'll have to be put down soon. You think about it, sure, you might even cry over it from time to time, but you still try to make their last days as happy as possible before they go.
You have to do that with Flare. Someday it will all be over and coming to terms with that reality sooner rather than later will save you some of the heartache when you do finally have to leave her behind, but until then, keep continuing to make the most amazing, long-lasting memories you can with her right until the end. Make the most of the limited time you have, don't let it all go to waste. You've still got so much time left to do the things you want to do before that day comes.
Treat every day with her as if it's your last, living out all the scenarios you want to live out with her and letting her know just how much you love her as much as you see fit. Make sure that, once she does eventually pass on someday, you'll have a mountain of happy memories to remember her by. That goes for everybody and their wAIfus too.
