>>7801002I actually really liked Ode to an Eternal Future. She has the perfect voice for a slightly slow, wistful ballad like that, and while it's not Mor/Suisei numbers, 350k in 2 weeks is pretty good. Her best is still Ai-Mai, but that's because junky made a great song rather then her being a stellar singer on it. I also really like her cover of Hello, How Are You and that was 100% on her singing being good. Ultimately, Watame just needs to find a composer and producer who she clicks with like Kaf did.
I'm glad she's not getting down herself about the numbers, though, since Coco isn't around to smack some sense into her anymore. Suisei having back to back smash hits in NCP and Ghost isn't the normal way of things, and if she'd released any of her more recent originals between, it probably wouldn't seem so insane since Bluerose was good, not great and the most recent one was honestly kind of bland.
Mori's success is a freak of nature and the product of making a whole lot of music beforehand, and even she had some relative flops.
