So, lately I've been having thoughts and I really don't know what to do with them. I figured maybe I could just ignore them, because I don't have much of a support structure out in the real world of people I can talk to, and the last thing I want to do is shit up threads with gossip or concern trolling or whatever else. But it's reached a point where it just has to be addressed, regardless of the consequences, and I can't hold myself back from this anymore. I need closure, and I need answers, if for no other reason than so that I can sleep at night again. I've been watching kiki stream for months now, and at first I thought nothing of it. Another vtuber with a cute voice and a cute avatar, she plays video games and sings and talks about her life. It's all above board and completely normal so far. But little by little a kind of thought-worm wiggled its way into my brain, and I've felt it wiggling in there ever since. I saw things, or heard things, little hints here and there from time to time, spread innocuously across multiple-hour streams, and just sort of left hanging without further comment. By themselves, they didn't mean much, but over time and through repetition I noticed that all the hints sort of started to come together into a coherent whole. I was able to start making sense of them, and start coming to concrete conclusions that have, frankly, left me baffled, unnerved, and just a little frightened about the nature of this vtuber.
A) Firstly, her name. Kiyomi is a perfectly normal Japanese name, and kiki, while not a standard truncated form of Kiyomi, is itself a normal enough name, if not particularly common. However "Pyon Pyon" is not a name in any language. In fact, "pyon" is simply an onomatopoeia word meant to represent the perceived sound of something hopping. Like a frog, or a pogo stick.
B) kiki is a self-professed vegetarian. That's fine, lots of people are. By itself, this is one of those hints which appears meaningless, but will become important later when looking at the big picture.
C) kiki implements carrots into her art and aesthetic with incredible frequency. From overlay to fanart to clothing, it's everywhere.
D) kiki lives in a home with at least two rabbits, both of whom have been verifiably doxxed on stream, and their identities confirmed.
E) On numerous occasions, kiki has made cryptic, indecipherable statements to the effect of "I am rab," or "I'm just a rabbit, after all." Likewise, she has a LONG, documented rap sheet of appellations, including "the humble rab," "the fishing rab," and many others.
F) Most miss it on first glance, but if you look at the hair on kiki's model, you can barely make out two large rabbit ears, drooping down towards her shoulders.
Bros, like I said, I don't want to start drama or ruin a happy community, but there's just no way around facing the facts, here. All the evidence confirms it, and the sooner you accept the reality of your situation, the sooner you can get on with the rest of your lives: Kiyomi Pyon Pyon, kiki, your oshi and your obsession, is, verifiably, a rabbit. There, I said it. She's a rabbit, and she's always been a rabbit, and she will ALWAYS BE a rabbit, and nothing any of us do can do about that. Change my mind, you can't.
