Kiara had mentioned maybe people "won't notice it" but it's still a change and this sounds like pretty much exactly that - if they're tweaking things behind the scenes of what they go for and present and such it won't be outwardly visible on the surface, and after shit like 2 male EN gens in a row they already broke the mold for what we were expecting they'd do.
