1) Put item up for auction
2) Someone bids on it
3) Overwrite that bid with your own on your own item
4) Someone comes in and overwrites that bid with something else, this bid is then deposited into your account.
5) When it expires, you receive the amount that was at the final bid amount as well.
I'm assuming you could repeat this infinitely, so I'm advising you to shut down the auctions if possible. This was a retelling of the events that occurred with my item and I've only ever put this item up for auction.
