>>43960117I'm a bit of a whore to be honest. I always follow enough choobas to fill a 3x3. Usually, I oshihen whenever someone better appears or the one I follow feels less interesting or that she has already "peaked".
There was one exception though: I followed an artist turned vtuber
I don't trust this kind of vtuber anymore a cute tomboy that loved playing old school JRPGs. At some point she turned into a weekends only kind of vtuber and a few months later she announced her graduation. She decided to focus on her IRL job. She took some vacations to spam streams until her graduation date and left. This was the most devastating graduation in vtubing for me, she cried like a bitch, I cried like a bitch.
Now remember that bit about me being a whore? The pain lasted a few weeks but I already had an oshi I loved almost as much, Mint Fantome. Her graduation didn't hurt because it was obvious as fuck she was going to reincarnate. I'm still a pomudachi to this day making her my longest oshi yet.
PD:
I followed my tomboy indie oshi's roommate, she self doxxed herself multiple times. She's a twitter artist, luxiem sister and has come out as non-binary. I can't believe that cute tomboy became what I hate about stereotypical /nijiEN/ sisters. This is why I don't trust twitter artists turned vtubers anymore, there's something broken in their head.
