In all seriousness, I don't have more to harp on about our infamous (lack of) health care, so let me strike a different angle you might not think about. The US is a big place, which is to say that you aren't walking anywhere unless you live in a city or close-knit town, and even then you'll probably still need to drive or get Uber'd around. Because of the size, each region is distinctly different, though cities tend to mostly be samey. Since you're *here*, I suppose that the best case for someone such as yourself would be to get a secluded shack in a flyover state with enough internet connectivity and just barely close enough to a city center wheneveer that need arises. Won't find much german speakers, but I assume that you aren't *too* attached to people, whether the same or not. Wouldn't be stuck here otherwise.
